The Poor Image- over manipulated, copied and recopied, disassembled and recombined. Does it have meaning anymore, is there any truth left in the moment of viewing?

The poor image, who will speak of it and where will it go?
These are my testimony to the image of today, the poor image, sampled from my own work and work sourced from buy and sell markets. This is the image of now, where meaning rests in the layers of transaction and reproduction, in the liminal spaces of ownership, object, pixels. Time collapses as analogue technologies mix in with digital and the chemical composition of film processing bites against the scanning technology of computers.
The final product shimmers in its glow of destablised gesture and recumbent signifiers to create new auguries for the modern age.
